Lagos Trip

On 2nd of February, a team from Ekiti State Innovation Office led by Mr. Seun Fakuade embarked on a trip to Lagos to visit innovation labs and accelerator hubs. The purpose of the trip was to learn and exchange knowledge with some of Nigeria's top tech minds and to explore ways of creating an enabling environment for innovation to thrive in Ekiti State.

During the trip, the team visited several innovation hubs and accelerators where they had the opportunity to interact with industry leaders and entrepreneurs.

They gained insights into the latest trends in technology and innovation, including how these could be applied to address specific challenges facing Ekiti State.

The team also learned about best practices in fostering a culture of innovation, creating supportive policies and infrastructure, and providing resources to support the growth of technology startups and small businesses.

As a result of the trip, the team gained valuable knowledge and insights into how they can create an enabling environment for innovation to thrive in the region. The State is now committed to implementing these best practices and taking steps to create a supportive ecosystem for technology and entrepreneurship.
